Sunday School - Trade show in The Netherlands
In January I visited the kid’s wear trade show Sunday School, which took place in the old industrial space of De Fabriek, near Utrecht in The Netherlands. With more than 200 brands, the 3rd edition of this one-day trade show is getting bigger. Mainly Dutch brands were presented along with brands from other countries represented by their agents to present the new Fall/Winter 2019-20 kid’s wear collections.
It was a cold and rainy day, but we had a warm welcome inside the cosy halls. When you walk through the halls you do get a good impression about trends, news and color schemes. There was a variety of brands including babies and kids collections, shoes and lifestyle offerings. We see more and more focus on fashion for teenagers. However, in general Dutch children’s fashion brands are following the trends of the latest runway shows which results in a more grown up look for kids.
